इयं या परमेष्ठिनी वाग् देवी ब्रह्मसंशिता । ययैव ससृजे घोरं तयैव शान्तिरस्तु नः

IAST Transliteration

iyáṃ yā parameṣṭhínī vā́g devī́ bráhma-saṃśitā | yayáivá sasṛjé ghóram táyaivá śā́ntir astu naḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

This—she who is supreme—Speech, the Goddess compacted with brahman: by her indeed the dreadful was sent forth; by that same power let peace be ours.

இது—பரமேஷ்டினியாகிய—வாக்; பிரஹ்மத்துடன் ஒன்றிய தேவியாகும். அவளாலேயே அச்சமூட்டுவது வெளிப்பட்டது; அதே சக்தியாலே எங்களுக்கு சாந்தி உண்டாகுக.
