Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It proclaims the purifying power of Soma-liṅga darśana: sincere vision of Śiva’s liṅga burns karmic demerit and grants auspicious results, indicating Śiva’s grace as the true purifier and liberator.
The verse centers on liṅga-darśana—approaching Śiva in a worshipable, saguna form—through which the devotee’s impurities are removed and divine merit is accrued, preparing the soul (paśu) to loosen bonds (pāśa) by Pati’s compassion.
Perform Soma-liṅga darśana with devotion—offer water and bilva leaves, chant the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and maintain purity (optionally with bhasma and rudrākṣa) to align the mind with Śiva while seeking His grace.
