सूर्यानुगमनवृत्तान्तः
The Account of Following the Sun
मनश्च मे हतं भूयस्सन्निवर्त्यतु संश्रयम्।यत्नेन महता ह्यस्मिन्पुनस्सन्धाय चक्षुषी।।।।यत्नेन महता भूयो भास्करः प्रतिलोकितः।तुल्यः पृथ्वीप्रमाणेन भास्करः प्रतिभाति नौ।।।।
manaś ca me hataṃ bhūyaḥ sannivartyatu saṃśrayam | yatnena mahatā hy asmin punas sandhāya cakṣuṣī ||
yatnena mahatā bhūyo bhāskaraḥ pratilokitaḥ | tulyaḥ pṛthvīpramāṇena bhāskaraḥ pratibhāti nau ||
मनश्च मे भूयो हतं संश्रयात् सन्निवर्तत। अथास्मिन् यत्नेन महता पुनः सन्धाय चक्षुषी, भूयो भास्करः प्रतिलोकितः। पृथ्वीप्रमाणेन तुल्यो भास्करः नौ प्रतिभाति॥
'Without taking leave of me Jatayu descended down to the earth. Seeing that, I also followed him down quickly from the sky.
