Sugriva on Surveying the Earth’s Regions
ततोऽहमागां किष्किन्धां निराशस्तस्य जीविते।।।।राज्यं च सुमहत्प्राप्य तारया रुमया सह।मित्रैश्च सहितस्तत्र वसामि विगतज्वरः।।।।
tato 'ham āgāṃ kiṣkindhāṃ nirāśas tasya jīvite | rājyaṃ ca sumahat prāpya tārāyā rumayā saha | mitraiś ca sahitas tatra vasāmi vigata-jvaraḥ ||
ततोऽहं तस्य जीविते निराशः किष्किन्धाम् आगाम्। सुमहत् राज्यं च प्राप्य तारया रुमया सह, मित्रैश्च सहितस्तत्र विगतज्वरः अवसम्॥
'I lost hope of his life and came back to Kishkinda. Having got the kingdom, and also Ruma and Tara, I was anointed king and ruled it fearlessly with all friends.
