दूत्यम् / Hanuman’s Mediation and Lakshmana’s Appeal to Sugriva

'This Rama for whose grace the subjects were ever bobolden to him now seeks the favour of the Chief of monkeys.
Dharma teaches compassion toward the distressed: one who once dispensed royal grace may, by circumstance, seek it—so aid should not be withheld out of pride.
Hanuman persuades Sugriva by highlighting the reversal of fortune: Rama, once the source of public contentment, now requests Sugriva’s support.
Rama’s modesty and patience under hardship; Sugriva’s potential virtue of generosity in granting favor.
