The Monsoon Description and Rama’s Counsel on Timing
निलीयमानैर्विहगैर्निमीलद्भिश्च पङ्कजैः।विकसन्त्या च मालत्या गतोऽस्तं ज्ञायते रविः।।
nilīyamānair vihagair nimīladbhiś ca paṅkajaiḥ | vikasantyā ca mālatyā gato 'staṃ jñāyate raviḥ ||
निलीयमानैर्विहगैर्निमीलद्भिश्च पङ्कजैः। विकसन्त्या च मालत्या गतोऽस्तं ज्ञायते रविः॥
'The time of the setting Sun (as he remains invisible the whole day) is known only by the birds reaching out to their dwellings for rest, and by the closing of lotuses andblossoming jasmines.
