Vali’s Funeral Rites and the Consolation of the Bereaved
विश्राणयन्तो रत्नानि विविधानि बहून्यपि।अग्रतः प्लवगा यान्तु शिबिका समनन्तरम्4.25.30।।
viśrāṇayanto ratnāni vividhāni bahūny api |
agrataḥ plavagā yāntu śibikā samanantaram || 4.25.30 ||
अग्रे प्लवगाः बहुविधानि रत्नानि बहून्यपि विश्राणयन्तो यान्तु; तेषामनन्तरं शिबिका समीपतरं गच्छतु॥
'Let the monkeys march in front, showering many different gems in large quantities and let the palanquin follow.
