Vali’s Final Counsel and the Succession Charge
सुषेणदुहिता चेयमर्थसूक्ष्मविमनिश्चये।औत्पातिके च विविधे सर्वतः परिनिष्ठिता।।
suṣeṇa-duhitā ceyam artha-sūkṣma-vimaniścaye | autpātike ca vividhe sarvataḥ pariniṣṭhitā ||
सुषेणस्य दुहिता एषा नारी नीत्यर्थयोः सूक्ष्मविवेकनिश्चये निपुणा। औत्पातिकेषु च नानाविधेषु सर्वतः परिनिष्ठिता समर्था च।।
'Tara, daughter of Sushena, is wise and efficient in discerning subtle matters and in foreseeing unexpected events.
Dharma of counsel: righteous rule depends on wise advisors who can discern subtle policy and respond to crises without confusion.
Vāli commends Tārā’s competence to Sugrīva, implicitly urging him to respect and rely on her counsel for stable governance.
Prudence and foresight: Tārā’s subtle discernment and crisis-readiness are foregrounded.
