Rama’s Justification to Vali on Rājadharma

त्वं हि दृष्टार्थतत्त्वज्ञ: प्रजानां च हिते रतः।कार्यकारणसिद्धौ च प्रसन्ना बुद्धिरव्यया।।

tvaṃ hi dṛṣṭārtha-tattvajñaḥ prajānāṃ ca hite rataḥ | kārya-kāraṇa-siddhau ca prasannā buddhir avyayā ||

त्वं हि यथार्थदर्शी तत्त्वज्ञश्च, प्रजानां हिते निरतः। कार्यकारणयोः सिद्धिं सम्यग् अवगच्छसि; तस्मात् तव बुद्धिरव्यया प्रसन्ना च।
