The Dundubhi Episode and the Proof of Rama’s Prowess
तमुवाचाथ सुग्रीवस्सप्त सालानिमान्पुरा।एवमेकैकशो वाली विव्याथाथ स चासकृत्। 4.11.70।।
tam uvācātha sugrīvaḥ sapta sālān imān purā |
evam ekaikaśo vālī vivyātha atha sa cāsakṛt || 4.11.70 ||
अथ सुग्रीवः तमुवाच—पुरा वाली इमान् सप्त सालान् एकैकशो विव्याथ, स चासकृत्॥
Then Sugriva told Lakshmana that earlier Vali had split through these seven Sala trees one after the other, several times.
