Sugriva’s Account of Enmity and Appeal to Rama
तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा निस्सृतोऽहं नृपालयात्।।अनुयातश्च मां तूर्णमयं भ्राता सुदारुणः।
tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā nissṛto 'haṃ nṛpālayāt | anuyātaś ca māṃ tūrṇam ayaṃ bhrātā sudāruṇaḥ ||
तस्य वचनं श्रुत्वा अहं नृपालयात् निस्सृतः; मां चायं सुदारुणो भ्राता तूर्णमनुयातः।
'On hearing his words I came out of the royal abode quickly, followed by this wicked brother.
