पितामहश्च भगवान्देवैस्सह महाद्युतिः । भृगुं नियोजयामास याजनार्थे महाद्युतिम्
pitāmahaśca bhagavāndevaissaha mahādyutiḥ | bhṛguṃ niyojayāmāsa yājanārthe mahādyutim
तदा देवैः सह महाद्युतिः भगवान् पितामहः याजनार्थं महातेजस्विनं भृगुं नियोजयामास।

‘Pitāmaha’ refers to Brahmā, regarded as the cosmic grandsire. The verse highlights his administrative role in organizing sacred rites alongside the gods.
‘Yājanārthe’ indicates the purpose of officiating or conducting a yajña. Bhṛgu is commissioned as the ritual expert who enables the sacrifice to be properly performed.
The verse underscores orderly delegation and dharmic procedure: even divine aims are pursued through proper ritual responsibility, guided by qualified sages.
