कालविभाग-निरूपणं तथा युद्धव्यवस्था

किमत्र कार्य पार्थस्य कथं वा स प्रशस्यते । अन्यत्र कामाद् द्वेषाद् वा रोषादस्मासु केवलातू,“हवा सदा चला करती है। इन्द्र हमेशा वर्षा करते हैं। मेघोंकी गर्जना बहुत बार सुननेको मिलती है। (इससे डरने या अपशकुन माननेकी क्या बात है?) इसमें अर्जुनका क्या काम है (कौन-सा चमत्कार है?) इस बातको लेकर क्यों उसकी प्रशंसा की जाती है? इसका कारण इस बातके सिवा और कया हो सकता है कि आचार्यके मनमें अर्जुनका भला करनेकी इच्छा हो एवं हमारे प्रति इनके हृदयमें केवल द्वेष तथा रोषका भाव ही संचित हो?
