महादेवो<पि पार्थेन श्रूयते युधि तोषित: । किरातवेषप्रच्छन्नो गिरौ हिमवति प्रभु:,“सुना जाता है, हिमालय पर्वतपर किरातवेशमें छिपे हुए साक्षात् भगवान् शंकरको भी अर्जुनने युद्धमें संतुष्ट किया था"
