संग्रामशिरसो मध्ये तां रात्रि सुखिनो 5वसन्‌ । इस प्रकार सुशर्माको मुक्त करके शत्रुओंका संहार करनेवाले, अपने बाहुबलसे सम्पन्न, लज्जाशील और संयमपूर्वक व्रतपालनमें तत्पर रहनेवाले वे पाण्डव उस युद्धके मुहानेपर ही रातभर सुखसे रहे

saṅgrāmaśiraso madhye tāṃ rātriṃ sukhino ’vasan | evaṃ suśarmāṇaṃ muktaṃ kṛtvā śatrūṇāṃ saṃhāra-karaṇāḥ sva-bāhu-balena sampannā lajjāśīlāḥ saṃyama-pūrvaka-vrata-pālane tatparāḥ te pāṇḍavā yuddha-mukhā eva rātriṃ sarvāṃ sukhenāvasan |

संग्रामशिरसो मध्ये तां रात्रिं सुखिनोऽवसन्। एवं सुशर्माणं विमोच्य शत्रून् संहृत्य, स्वबाहुबलसम्पन्ना लज्जाशीलाः संयमपूर्वकव्रतपालने तत्पराः पाण्डवाः संग्राममुखेऽपि तां रात्रिं सुखेन न्यवसन्॥
