दर्श च पौर्णमासं च यस्य तिछेत्‌ प्रतिष्ठितम्‌ । इष्टिरष्टाकपालेन कार्या पथिकृतेडग्नये

Transliteration

darśaṁ ca paurṇamāsaṁ ca yasya tiṣṭhet pratiṣṭhitam | iṣṭir aṣṭākapālena kāryā pathikṛte 'gnaye ||

Translation

मार्कण्डेय उवाच—यस्य दर्शपौर्णमासौ विधिवत् प्रतिष्ठितौ, तेन अष्टकपालैः संस्कृतं हविः कृत्वा पथिकृत्-नाम्नि अग्नये इष्टिः कार्या।
