वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic conduct through hospitality and devotion: a righteous person honors the worthy guest—especially the divine—using auspicious means, expressing humility, gratitude, and recognition of higher guidance.
Vidura goes to meet Kṛṣṇa, who has arrived, and performs a respectful pūjā with auspicious and pleasing offerings, setting a tone of reverence before the ensuing counsel and high-stakes diplomacy of the Udyoga Parva.
