दुर्योधनेयं चिन्ता मे शश्वन्न व्युपशाम्यति । सत्यं होतदहं मन्ये प्रत्यक्ष नानुमानत:,“वत्स दुर्योधन! मेरी यह चिन्ता कभी दूर नहीं होती है, क्योंकि तुम्हारा पक्ष दुर्बल है। मैं यह बात अनुमानसे नहीं कहता हूँ; प्रत्यक्ष देख रहा हूँ; अतः इसीको सत्य मानता हूँ

duryodhaneyaṁ cintā me śaśvān na vyupaśāmyati | satyaṁ hotad ahaṁ manye pratyakṣaṁ nānumānataḥ |

वैशम्पायन उवाच—दुर्योधन, मम एषा चिन्ता शाश्वन्न व्युपशाम्यति। एतत् सत्यं मन्ये—नानुमानतः, प्रत्यक्षमेव पश्यामि।
