Educational Q&A

Repeated practice through body, mind, and speech becomes a force that shapes and pulls a person’s life; therefore one should deliberately cultivate only wholesome, beneficial conduct (kalyāṇa).

In the Udyoga Parva’s counsel-filled context, Vidura is instructing on right conduct (nīti/dharma), emphasizing how constant habits in thought, word, and deed determine one’s moral direction—an urgent lesson as the Kuru conflict moves toward war.
