Pāṇḍava-senā-niryāṇa and Vyūha-vibhāga (पाण्डवसेनानिर्याण तथा व्यूहविभाग)
भवद्धिः समनुज्ञातो वाक्यमस्य यदुत्तरम् । उलूके प्रापयिष्यामि यद् वक्ष्यति सुयोधनम्,“यदि आपलोगोंकी आज्ञा हो तो मैं इस बातका उत्तर उलूकको दे दूँ, जिसे यह दुर्योधनको सुना देगा
bhavadbhiḥ samanujñāto vākyam asya yad uttaram | ulūke prāpayiṣyāmi yad vakṣyati suyodhanam ||
भवद्भिः समनुज्ञातो वाक्यमस्य यदुत्तरम्। उलूके प्रापयिष्यामि यद् वक्ष्यति सुयोधनम्॥
संजय उवाच
Even in the approach to war, communication is framed by propriety: a reply should be delivered only with due authorization, and a messenger is a conduit rather than an independent agent. The verse highlights restraint, procedural correctness, and responsibility in speech.
Sañjaya states that, if the assembled elders permit, he will convey the appropriate response to Ulūka, who will then report it back to Suyodhana (Duryodhana). This situates the scene within formal diplomatic exchange preceding open conflict.
