शल्य उवाच
The verse highlights the value of timely, accurate reporting and the prudent use of concealment. Even powerful beings may adopt subtle means to protect a larger objective, suggesting that discernment and strategy can be ethically appropriate when aligned with rightful ends.
Agni returns quickly and reports to Bṛhaspati that Indra is hidden, having assumed a minute form and taken shelter in the lotus-stalk fiber. The line functions as a narrative disclosure of Indra’s concealed location and condition.
