कि पुनर्धात॑राष्ट्राणां लुब्धानां पापचेतसाम् । “आपके शत्रुओंको परास्त करनेकी शक्ति इन सबमें विद्यमान है। ये महान् संग्राममें इन्द्रके मनमें भी भय उत्पन्न कर सकते हैं; फिर पापात्मा और लोभी धृतराष्ट्रपुत्रोंकी तो बात ही क्या है?

किं पुनर्धृतराष्ट्राणां लुब्धानां पापचेतसाम्। एतेषु सर्वेषु ते शत्रून् पराजेतुं बलं विद्यते; महति संग्रामे ते इन्द्रस्यापि मनसि भयमुत्पादयेयुः—किं पुनः पापात्मनां लुब्धानां धृतराष्ट्रपुत्राणामिति॥
