Kuntī–Karṇa Saṃvāda: Lineage Disclosure and Appeal to Fraternal Dharma

“जयद्रथ, कर्ण, दुःशासन तथा शकुनिकी खोटी बुद्धिसे कौरव-पाण्डवोंमें परस्पर फूट होकर ही रहेगी ।। अधर्मेण हि धर्मिष्ठ कृतं वैकार्यमीदृशम्‌ । येषां तेषामयं धर्म: सानुबन्धो भविष्यति,“(कौरवोंने चौदहवें वर्षमें पाण्डवोंको राज्य लौटा देनेकी प्रतिज्ञा करके भी उसका पालन नहीं किया।) जिन्हें ऐसा अधर्मजनित कार्य भी, जो परस्पर बिगाड़ करनेवाला है, धर्मसंगत प्रतीत होता है, उनका यह विकृत धर्म सफल होकर ही रहेगा (अधर्मका फल है दुःख और विनाश। वह उन्हें प्राप्त होगा ही)
