नृशंस्थामयशस्यां च दुःखां कापुरुषोचिताम् | तुझे हिजड़ों, कापालिकों, क्रूर मनुष्यों तथा कायरोंके लिये उचित भिक्षा आदि निन्दनीय वृत्तिका आश्रय कभी नहीं लेना चाहिये; क्योंकि वह अपयश फैलानेवाली और दुःखदायिनी होती है
nṛśaṃsathāmayayaśasyāṃ ca duḥkhāṃ kāpuruṣocitām |
वायुरुवाच—नृशंसाम् अपयशस्यां च दुःखां कापुरुषोचिताम् वृत्तिं न कदाचन आश्रयेत्। भिक्षादिकां निन्द्यां जीविकां हि क्रूरकापुरुषाणामेवोचिता; सा ह्यपयशकरी दुःखदायिनी च।
