अलब्ध्वा यदि वा लब्ध्वा नानुशोचति पण्डित: । आनन्तर्य चारभते न प्राणानां धनायते,विद्वान पुरुषको अभीष्ट फलकी प्राप्ति हो या न हो, वह उसके लिये शोक नहीं करता। वह (अपनी पूरी शक्तिके अनुसार) प्राणपर्यन्त निरन्तर चेष्टा करता है और अपने लिये धनकी इच्छा नहीं करता
Translation
अलब्ध्वा यदि वा लब्ध्वा नानुशोचति पण्डितः। आनन्तर्यं चारभते न प्राणानां धनायते॥
