वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights kṣipratā (swift action) and niyama (discipline) in protecting a vital civic-political space: when danger approaches, leadership must organize forces promptly, maintain order, and ensure security without hesitation.
A leader issues an urgent directive to Kṛtavarmā: prepare the troops immediately, arrange them in a battle formation, and personally—fully armed—hold position at the entrance of the assembly hall, indicating imminent confrontation and the need to secure the council area.
