Shloka 30

राजधर्मः—प्रजापालनं दानयज्ञश्च

Royal Duty—Protection of Subjects, Generosity, and Sacrificial Discipline

यदा कुलीनो धर्मज्ञ: प्राप्तोत्यैश्वर्यमुत्तमम्‌ । योगक्षेमस्तदा राज्ञ: कुशलायैव कल्प्यते,जब धर्मज्ञ एवं कुलीन मुनष्य राजाके यहाँ उत्तम ईश्वरभावको अर्थात्‌ मन्त्री आदिके उच्च अधिकारको पाता है, तभी राजाका योग और क्षेम सिद्ध होता है, जो उसके कुशल- मड़लका साधक है

यदा कुलीनो धर्मज्ञः पुरुषो राज्ञि उत्तममैश्वर्यं—मन्त्र्याद्यधिकारं—प्राप्नोति, तदा राज्ञो योगक्षेमः सिद्ध्यति; स च तस्य कुशलमण्डलस्य साधकः भवति।
