अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः

भूतभव्यभविष्याणां छिन्नसर्वार्थसंशय: । ये हृतिक्रान्तका: पूर्व सहस्रयुगपर्यया:,“भूत, वर्तमान और भविष्यके सभी विषयोंमें तुम्हारा संशय नष्ट हो जायगा। पहले जो सहस्न-युगोंके कल्प व्यतीत हो चुके हैं, उन सबको मेरी आज्ञासे तुम देख सकोगे और तपोबलसे सम्पन्न बने रहोगे। भविष्यमें होनेवाले अनेक कल्प भी तुम्हें दृष्टिगोचर होंगे

Transliteration

bhūtabhavyabhaviṣyāṇāṁ chinnasarvārthasaṁśayaḥ | ye hṛtikrāntakāḥ pūrva sahasrayugaparyayāḥ ||

Translation

वैशम्पायन उवाच—भूतभव्यभविष्याणां सर्वार्थेषु तव संशयः सम्यक् छिद्यते। ये च पूर्वं सहस्रयुगपर्ययाः कालचक्रपरिवर्ताः व्यतीताः, तान् ममाज्ञया त्वं द्रक्ष्यसि; तपोबलेन च समन्वितो भूत्वा, भविष्यति च बहून् कल्पानपि प्रत्यक्षं द्रक्ष्यसि।
