एकान्तिधर्म-प्रश्नः (Inquiry into Ekāntin Dharma) / The Origin and Practice of Single-Pointed Nārāyaṇa-Centered Discipline
पितृशेषेण विप्रांश्न संविभज्यश्रितांश्व॒ सः । शेषान्नभुक् सत्यपर: सर्वभूतेष्वहिंसक:,जो पहले भगवान् सूर्यके मुखसे प्रकट हुआ था, उस वैष्णव शास्त्रोक्त विधिका आश्रय ले वे प्रथम तो देवेश्वर भगवान् नारायणका पूजन करते। फिर उनकी सेवासे बचे हुए पदार्थोंसे पितरोंका, पितरोंकी सेवासे बचे हुए पदार्थोसे ब्राह्मगणोंका तथा अन्य आश्रितजनोंका विभागपूर्वक सत्कार करते थे। सबको देनेके अनन्तर बचे हुए अन्नका भोजन करते थे, सत्यमें तत्पर रहते और किसी भी प्राणीकी हिंसा नहीं करते थे
