Śuka’s Guṇa-Transcendence and Vyāsa’s Consolation (शुकगति-वर्णनम्)

सातिसूक्ष्मां कथां श्रुत्वा तथ्यं नेति ससंशया । दर्शने जातसंकल्पा जनकस्य बभूव ह,उनके द्वारा कही जानेवाली अत्यन्त सूक्ष्म परब्रह्म-विषयक वार्ता दूसरोंके मुखसे सुनकर सुलभाके मनमें यह संदेह हुआ कि पता नहीं जनकके सम्बन्धमें जो बातें सुनी जाती हैं, वे सत्य हैं या नहीं। यह संशय उत्पन्न होनेपर उसके हृदयमें राजा जनकके दर्शनका संकल्प उदित हुआ
