नारद उवाच
The verse highlights dharma through proper hospitality: a righteous king honors visiting sages according to scriptural injunction (vidhi) and provides for their needs, showing that ethical kingship includes reverence, ritual propriety, and generous care for guests.
Narada narrates that he and his nephew-sage Parvata went to King Sūñjaya to reside there; the king received them with due rites and arranged all comforts, after which they stayed in his palace.
