Aging and Death Cannot Be Overstepped
अयमत्र भवेद् बन्धुरनेन सह मे क्षमम् । साम्यमेकत्वमायातो यादृशस्तादृशस्त्वहम्,“वास्तवमें इस जगत्के भीतर यह परमात्मा ही मेरा बन्धु है। इसीके साथ मेरी मैत्री हो सकती है। पहले मैं कैसा भी क्यों न रहा होऊँ, इस समय तो मैं इसकी समानता और एकताको प्राप्त हो चुका हूँ, जैसा वह है वैसा ही मैं हूँ
ayam atra bhaved bandhur anena saha me kṣamam | sāmyam ekatvam āyāto yādṛśas tādṛśas tv aham ||
अयमत्र भवेद् बन्धुरनेन सह मे क्षमम् । साम्यमेकत्वमायातो यादृशस्तादृशस्त्वहम् ॥
वसिष्ठ उवाच
Vasiṣṭha teaches that the only unfailing ‘relative’ is the Supreme Self within; through inner realization one attains sameness and unity with that Self, dissolving prior identity and dependence on external bonds.
In Vasiṣṭha’s discourse, he describes his own settled spiritual state: he recognizes the Paramātman as his true companion and declares that he has reached unity with it—expressing the culmination of self-knowledge rather than a social or worldly alliance.
