संद्रक्ष्यन्ति नरा श्चान्ये स्वरूपेण विनाकृतम् । 'प्रभो! यह सुकुमारी आपकी भार्या होगी, इसमें संशय नहीं है, परंतु विवाहके बादसे ही कन्या तथा अन्य सब लोग आपका रूप (मुख) वानरके समान देखने लगेंगे। बंदर जैसा- मुँह आपके स्वरूपको छिपा देगा”
saṃdrakṣyanti narāś cānye svarūpeṇa vinākṛtam |
सन्द्रक्ष्यन्ति नराश्चान्ये स्वरूपेण विनाकृतम् । प्रभो, एषा सुकुमारी भविता ते भार्या न संशयः; किन्तु विवाहानन्तरं कन्या चान्ये च सर्वे तव मुखं वानरसमं द्रक्ष्यन्ति—वानरवद्वदनं तव स्वरूपं प्रच्छादयिष्यति ॥
