Educational Q&A

The verse teaches that dharma (inner righteousness) combined with courage and excellence in protecting society grants a leader moral legitimacy; such a person is naturally accepted by the world, not merely installed by force.

Vāyudeva describes a figure whose qualities—righteousness, greatness of soul, and Indra-like prowess in battle—lead to swift, near-universal acceptance across the earth, suggesting rapid consolidation of authority through virtue and valor.
