बहुश्रुतश्चित्रकथ: पण्डितोडलालसो5शठ: । अदीनोडक्रोधनो<लुब्धस्तस्मात्‌ सर्वत्र पूजित:,वे अनेक शास्त्रोंके विद्वान्‌ हैं और उनका कथा कहनेका ढंग भी बड़ा विचित्र है। उनमें पूर्ण पाण्डित्य होनेके साथ ही लालसा और शठताका भी अभाव है। दीनता, क्रोध और लोभ आदि दोषणसे वे सर्वथा रहित हैं; इसीलिये उनका सर्वत्र सम्मान होता है

Transliteration

bahuśrutaś citrakathaḥ paṇḍito ’lālaso ’śaṭhaḥ | adīno ’krodhano ’lubdhas tasmāt sarvatra pūjitaḥ ||

बहुश्रुतश्चित्रकथः पण्डितोऽलालसोऽशठः । अदीनोऽक्रोधनोऽलुब्धस्तस्मात् सर्वत्र पूजितः ॥
