नाहं देवेन्द्र वत्स्यामि दानवेष्विति मे मति: । देवेन्द्र! जबसे इन दैत्योंने ये धर्मके विपरीत आचरण अपनाये हैं, तबसे मैंने यह निश्चय कर लिया है कि अब इन दानवोंके घरमें नहीं रहूँगी
nāhaṃ devendra vatsyāmi dānaveṣv iti me matiḥ |
नाहं देवेन्द्र वत्स्यामि दानवेष्विति मे मतिः। यदा ते धर्मविरुद्धं चरितं समाश्रितवन्तः, तदा मे निश्चयो जातो यन्नाहं दानवगृहे वसिष्यामि॥
शक्र उवाच
One should not remain in close association with those who have embraced adharma; ethical integrity sometimes requires a clear separation from corrupt environments to avoid tacit endorsement or moral contamination.
Śakra (Indra), speaking as Devendra, states his firm decision not to reside among the Dānavas, implying that their conduct has become contrary to dharma and therefore unfit for continued association.
