दशानां तनयस्त्वेको दक्षो नाम प्रजापति: । तस्य द्वे नामनी लोके दक्ष: क इति चोच्यते,उन दसोंके एकमात्र पुत्र दक्ष नामसे प्रसिद्ध प्रजापति हैं। उनके दो नाम बताये जाते हैं --'दक्ष' और “क'
