Educational Q&A

Practice non-violence and universal friendliness, relinquish possessive attachment to family ties, and use discernment to master the senses; this leads to a fearless, grief-free condition in both present life and afterlife.

In the Shanti Parva’s instruction on dharma and liberation-oriented conduct, Bharadvaja articulates a discipline of ahiṁsā, maitrī, detachment, and sense-restraint as the practical path to inner security and freedom from sorrow.
