निर्वेदोपदेशः (Nirveda-Upadeśa) — Maṅki’s Dispassion and the Limits of Wealth-Seeking
राक्षसाधिपतिर्वीरो विरूपाक्ष इति श्रुत: । सत्यवां त्वरति वै द्रष्ट तत् क्षिप्रं संविधीयताम्,“विरूपाक्ष नामसे प्रसिद्ध वीर राक्षलराज आपको देखनेके लिये उतावले हो रहे हैं; अतः आप शीघ्रता कीजिये”
rākṣasādhipatir vīro virūpākṣa iti śrutaḥ | satyavān tvarati vai draṣṭuṃ tat kṣipraṃ saṃvidhīyatām ||
राक्षसाधिपतिर्वीरो विरूपाक्ष इति श्रुतः । सत्यवांस्त्वरते वै द्रष्टुं तत्क्षिप्रं संविधीयताम् ॥
भीष्म उवाच
Even when dealing with formidable or non-human powers, one should act with timely propriety—responding promptly and arranging what is required according to dharma and protocol, rather than through negligence or delay.
Bhīṣma reports that Virūpākṣa, a renowned heroic leader of the Rākṣasas, is impatient to meet Satyavān, and he urges that immediate arrangements be made for this meeting.
