Ākiṃcanya–Tyāga Upadeśa
The Instruction on Non-ownership and Renunciation
sa panthānam athāsādya samudrābhisaraṃ tadā | āsasāda vana ramyaṃ divyaṃ puṣpitapādapam ||
The verse highlights a transition from searching to finding a clear direction: when a proper path is obtained, one should follow it steadily. The arrival in a blossoming, divine forest functions as an ethical-symbolic marker of auspicious progress—right movement (toward a goal) leading to a calmer, more sattvic environment.
A traveler (referred to simply as 'he') comes upon a route leading toward the sea, follows it, and reaches a beautiful, divine forest where the trees are in full bloom.
