भीष्म उवाच
As a colophon, the verse itself does not add a new doctrinal point; it frames the preceding instruction as part of Āpaddharma—ethical decision-making under crisis—delivered through the Indrota–Parīkṣit dialogue within Bhīṣma’s larger Śānti Parva teachings.
Bhīṣma’s discourse reaches a formal chapter-ending marker: it announces that the chapter concerning the dialogue between Indrota and Parīkṣit, situated in the Āpaddharma section of the Śānti Parva, has concluded.
