Testing and Appointment of Ministers/Servants
(तं दृष्टवा शरभं यान्तं सिंह: परभयातुर: । ऋषिं शरणमापेदे वेपमान: कृताञउ्जलि: ।।
taṃ dṛṣṭvā śarabhaṃ yāntaṃ siṃhaḥ parabhayāturaḥ | ṛṣiṃ śaraṇamāpede vepamānaḥ kṛtāñjaliḥ || tato muniḥ śarabhaṃ cakre balotkaṭam arindama | tataḥ sa śarabho vanyo muneḥ śarabham agrataḥ ||
तं शरभं यान्तं दृष्ट्वा सिंहः परभयातुरः। वेपमानः कृताञ्जलिर्ऋषिं शरणमापेदे॥ ततः स मुनिः स्वबलात् शरभं रूपं समास्थाय बलोत्कटमरिंदमः। ततो वन्यः शरभः तस्य मुनेः शरभमग्रतः स्थितः॥
