Educational Q&A

The passage highlights how adharma can express itself through speech: even when facing severe personal suffering, a person ruled by pride and hatred may choose to harm others verbally. It implicitly contrasts self-restraint and dharmic speech with cruelty and hostility.

Sanjaya reports that Duryodhana, despite being in terrible, potentially life-ending pain, turns his attention outward and attacks Krishna with harsh words, attempting to cause him distress through verbal aggression.
