The verse highlights reverence for sacred speech and right ritual: even Brahmā invokes Sarasvatī during sacrifice, implying that dharma is upheld through disciplined worship, purity of intention, and honoring the divine source of knowledge and eloquence.
Vaiśampāyana reports that at Puṣkara, while conducting a yajña, Brahmā (Pitāmaha) formally invoked Sarasvatī—setting a sacred context in which divine presence is invited to empower or sanctify the rite.
