mādrīputrau tathā śūrau draupadyāḥ pañca cātmajāḥ
माद्रीपुत्रौ तथा शूरौ द्रौपद्याः पञ्च चात्मजाः—पाण्डवानां प्रमुखा वंशधराः, कर्तव्यबन्धनैः स्वजनस्नेहैश्च बद्धाः, युद्धस्य निष्ठुरगणनायां समाहृताः।
संजय उवाच
