Educational Q&A

Do not push the righteous beyond the limits of patience. When forbearance is exhausted, even the most peace-loving can become unstoppable, and then no one can serve as a ‘safe island’ against the flood of consequences.

Vidura cautions the Kuru side that if Yudhiṣṭhira and his brothers are driven into anger, a catastrophic war will erupt. He frames the coming conflict as an ocean of disaster and asks who will be able to protect them once that turmoil begins.
