Nārada’s Examination of Royal Ethics

एतया वर्तमानस्य बुद्धया राष्ट्र न सीदति । विजित्य च महीं राजा सो>त्यन्तसुखमेधते,जो ऐसी बुद्धिके अनुसार बर्ताव करता है, उसका राष्ट्र कभी संकटमें नहीं पड़ता। वह राजा सारी पृथ्वीको जीतकर बड़े सुखसे दिनोदिन उन्नति करता है

etayā vartamānasya buddhyā rāṣṭra na sīdati | vijitya ca mahīṁ rājā so ’tyantasukham edhate ||
