Educational Q&A

The passage underscores the ethical gravity of unchecked violence and internecine conflict: when a community turns its power inward, destruction becomes total. Even divine protection does not negate the fruition of collective wrongdoing; wrath and grief can accelerate an already ripened consequence.

After witnessing his younger brother Gada fallen in battle, Kṛṣṇa—described by his divine weapons—acts decisively to end the remaining Yādavas. The verse presents this as a complete, final annihilation, marking the culmination of the Yādava clan’s collapse in the Mausala Parva.
