तां त्वं पुनर्वीर धृतिं गृहीत्वा सहानुबन्धं जहि सूतपुत्रम् “वीर! तुमने अपने जिस उत्तम धैर्यके द्वारा किरातरूपधारी महात्मा भगवान् शंकरको संतुष्ट किया था, उसी धैर्यको पुनः अपनाकर सगे-सम्बन्धियोंसहित सूतपुत्रका वध कर डालो

सञ्जय उवाच— तां त्वं पुनर्वीर धृतिं गृहीत्वा, सहानुबन्धं सूतपुत्रं जहि। यया त्वया किरातरूपधारी महेश्वरः प्रीतिमान् कृतः, तामेव धृतिं पुनरास्थाय।
