Shloka 111

'जैसे जंगलमें दन्तार हाथी किसी पेड़को टूक-टूक कर देता है, उसी प्रकार आज ही मैं रथ, घोड़े, शक्ति, कवच तथा अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंसहित कर्णको चूर-चूर कर डालूँगा ।। अद्य राधेयभार्याणां वैधव्यं समुपस्थितम्‌ । ध्रुवं स्वप्नेष्वनिष्टानि ताभिवदृष्टानि माधव,“माधव! आज राधापुत्र कर्णकी स्त्रियोंके विधवा होनेका अवसर उपस्थित है। निश्चय ही, उन्होंने स्वप्नमें अनिष्ट वस्तुओंके दर्शन किये हैं

adyā rādheyabhāryāṇāṃ vaidhavyaṃ samupasthitam | dhruvaṃ svapneṣv aniṣṭāni tābhir adṛṣṭāni mādhava ||

सञ्जय उवाच—अद्य राधेयभार्याणां वैधव्यं समुपस्थितम् । ध्रुवं स्वप्नेष्वनिष्टानि ताभिर् दृष्टानि माधव ॥
